The book _Sex in History_ by Reay Tannahill is one of my favorites.
It's amazing that she managed to cover so many eras and cultures and
still maintain her level of detail.  Very good book.  She doesn't
think much of the Venus of Willendorf and other venus figures as
goddesses, but I've read so much of the other side that I enjoyed
reading her views.

Her bibliography would be a good place to start for any look at sexual
fantasies of the past, but I think you're right.  There's not much
source material for women's fantasies too far in the past.
