The nymph

The nymph cavorts beside my stream
And launches to that other place
She spreads her wings and circles high
Her eyes perceive the world sublime

She swoops to me from in the sky
And whispers something in my ear
So softly that I barely hear
"Mother earth you hear my call
And give my soul a place to fall"

She climbs again beyond my sight
And disappears into the night

Will she return my old/young nymph
To carry me above the sky
To be beside the silent moon
And dream of dreams divine
